Description:
the intervention of requalification of the main roads in the historical centre includes Piazza Garibaldi which is the heart of the project because of its strategic position and crossed by the important Via Francesco Netti, which is also the gateway to the old centre.
It is characterized by the presence of the Chiesa Madre and the Marquis Palace, very important buildings for the citizens. The square is also connected to the Municipal Park through Via Francesco Netti, also subject of intervention.
More of one kilometre of roads and squares for a total surface of 7500 square metres of paved spaces with relative services and systems, already planned and now in progress in a very special historical, settling, social and cultural context.
The removal of the asphalt layer, the restoration of the original flooring in thick lime stones and the necessary integrations, with the creation of a bigger pedestrian area and a new overall design, will carry out a renewed urban space highly attractive for residents and tourists. Work valued at € 2.000.000,00
