recovery of the historical house called “ex conceria”, dated from the late 800, aiming to transform the place into a cultural and exhibition centre.
With its main entrance and green open spaces it represents a historic place in the new residential and services area along the road to Barsento.
The renovation has been designed to preserve the historical importance of the house preserving the stone tanks used until 50’s for leather tanning and keeping the pavement in limestone; restoring the metal mezzaninewhich recalls the original subdivision of the structure, ensuring the optimization of the wide vaulted space that was developed in height to recall the nearby Sant’Antonio church. Total amount of the intervention: € 358.832,64
intervention realised thanks to public funds obtained within the Urban Renovation Program (PRU) of the P.E.E.P. area of via Barsento; the aim of the P.R.U. was the realization of “traditional” connective areas and community services.
