Municipality of Bari (Ba)
The intervention is part of the most complex work system for “recovery and restoration of the primary urbanization of the Old Town: pavement of paths and realization of subservices in the sixth path of the municipality of Bari. Particularly new subservices for the public network were realized and the pavement was restored, replacing the asphalt with calcareous (clear) and basalt (obscure) stones, with recovery of the existing pavement where preserved enough. The intervention covered also the beautiful space between the basilica of San Nicola and the medieval wall going to the Lungomare Imperatore Augusto, main entrance to the Old Town from the sea, Largo Urbano II and Corte del Catapano. Total amount of the intervention : € 3.000.000
The project is part of the complex architectural, economical and social redevelopment of the Old Town of Bari and links the Urban Project that was the beginning of the new millennium for the most attended touristic area and heart of the nightlife, prototype and reference for all the ancient cores of the Region.
